A viral tweet was taken by a shopper who came across the Yeezy collection, and controversy sparked among users:

“This is how they are selling Yeezy GAP,” the tweet said. “The sales associate said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and this is how he wanted it. They won’t help you find ur size too, you just have to just dig through everything.”

In an interview with FOX, Ye was asked about insensitivity surrounding the homeless regarding selling clothes in giant bags.

Of course, The “Famous” rapper defended his ideas around his work and how it will impact the future.

“THESE ARE NOT TRASH BUT CONSTRUCTION BAGS INTENDED FOR CUSTOMER TO INFORMALLY REACH IN & HELP THEMSELVES.

“YE GOAL IS TO MAKE LIFE EASIER. YZYGAP IS THE FUTURE OF FASHION #YZYGAP #YEEZYGAP.”

Ye also mentioned wanting to make life more informal so people can get dressed in the dark.
His first Gap X Balenciaga collection was released in February.
