Gold Digger?

Fresh off his epic Super Bowl performance, Death Row’s new owner, Snoop Dogg, is facing a lawsuit from an unnamed woman claiming she was sexually assaulted almost nine years ago.

According to documents obtained by NBC News, the 2013 incident allegedly occurred at the taping of “Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network” where the woman alleges that Snoop Dogg followed her to the bathroom where he forced her to perform oral sex and masturbated in front of her.

Snoop denies the entire story. He posted an image on his Instagram, calling the woman  a “Gold digger.”

New Team To The Rescue

Embattled R&B icon R.Kelly is seeking a new legal team in his current sexual assault trial after claiming his former lawyers were unprepared during the trial, in violation of his constitutional right to effective legal counsel. Last fall, Kelly was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child, bribery, racketeering, and sex trafficking involving five victims. The 55-year-old singer faces 10 years to life in prison.

Kelly is now represented by Jennifer Bonjean, the attorney who helped comedian and actor Bill Cosby in his successful proposal to have the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overrule his sexual assault conviction. Jennifer is backing up R.Kelly’s motion, claiming incompetent actions against Kelly’s previous legal team, demanding a new trial and Kelly’s acquittal on all charges for weak evidence.

Kelly is currently awaiting a second trial scheduled to begin in August on separate charges of obtaining child pornography and obstruction of justice.

Can’t Help But Wait

R&B Artist Trey Songz is being accused of rape in another lawsuit. In documents obtained by CNN, the accuser is suing Songz for $20 million. The plaintiff in the case, “Jane Doe,” claims she had a casual and occasionally sexual relationship with Trey Songz. Their relationship changed in 2016, according to the accusation, when Doe claims Trey Songz anally raped her at a house party in West Hills, California for which she required immediate medical care.

This is not the first abuse claim on the VA singer. Numerous women have called out The “Can’t Help But Wait” singer for sexual assault and intimidation. Former University of Las Vegas basketball player Dylan Gonzalez, took to Twitter in late December to call out Trey Songz for similar allegations. He wrote, “Trey Songz is a rapist. Lord forgive me I couldn’t hold that in another year..”

Gonzalez’s legal team is also representing Jahaura Jeffries, another woman who alleges that Songz sexually assaulted her at a nightclub in Miami in 2018.
