Drink Champs co-host Noreaga (N.O.R.E) has issued an apology to George Floyd’s family for Ye’s offensive comments, which downplayed his death, saying it wasn’t because of the cop Derek Chauvin putting his knee on his neck.

The former rap artist was also asked about the lawsuit Floyd’s family may put forward, and if his name was included, he replied, saying he was more concerned about the pain Kanye’s comments caused.

Noreaga also apologized for giving Kanye the platform to make dangerous comments in the interview.

In 2020, West helped families of victims killed in racial violence, such as Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery.

Prior to the conversation with Drink Champs, Ye recently got the public’s attention when he wore the “White Lives Matter” shirt alongside Candace Owens in Paris.
