Recently, Megan Thee Stallion told Yung Miami that most female rap beef are started by fans. Women within hip-hop are always being put against each other as if there can only be one on top.
While interviewing City Girls’ Yung Miami, Megan talks about working with Cardi B and how fans are usually the reason for beef within the industry.
When asked how it worked with artists like Beyoncé and Cardi B, the Fever rapper mentioned that it was fun working with these women.
She said had a good time creating “W.A.P” with the “Bodak Yellow” rapper and the “Savage Remix” with Queen Bey.
Furthermore, she talked about how there is enough room for everyone at the top and even reminisced about how in the 90s, artists would randomly show up in each other’s music videos.
The topic of fans also came about when the Good News rapper said that fans are usually the ones that start “beef” with other artists and constantly compare their styles of music.
The ”Bless The Booth Freestyle” rapper says that no one raps the same.
Everyone has the opportunity to make their lane in this day and age.
City Girls Address The Constant Comparisons
In the previous episode of Caresha Please, the City Girls talked about constant comparisons placed against one another by fans and other artists.
