The Atlanta rapper has dropped his new song, “Dance Now,” along with a music video.
“Dance Now ” is JID’s second single from his upcoming album, The Forever Story.
This album will follow his 2018 album, DiCaprio 2.
The video was shot in JID’s hometown in Atlanta and displays inner-city neighborhood activities, leading to a scene where JID and a couple of his friends are confronted by police.
The Forever Story is set to release on August 26.

Back in July, JID hosted a special event for his upcoming album, The Forever Story.
A venue in New York had a sign that read “Never Is 4Ever by JID,” which could be a song title on the new album.
“Surround Sound,” which features 21 Savage and Baby Tate, will also be on the album.
