In a post on Instagram, Drake revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of his Young Money Reunion show in Toronto, which will feature Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

The show was supposed to take place tonight in Toronto to cap off “October World Weekend” – a series of events hosted by Drake.

“I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked,” he added.

Drake October World Covid Superspreader?

Drake’s covid diagnosis could be a cause for alarm for those who may have been exposed during his October World Weekend festivities. Fans and celebs who attended the four days of packed events should consider getting Covid-19 tests.

Earlier this month, Drake announced “October World Weekend” would take place from July 28 to August 1 and feature some big names.

Various artists from Canada – “The All-Canadian North Stars” – performed on July 28, with Chris Brown and Lil Baby performing on July 29.  Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj were originally set to share the stage with Drake on August 1.
