After great deliberation, the ladies of The SOHHFA team have decided on their top fashion picks from this year’s BET Awards —  in no particular order.

  1. Marsai Martin

Black-ish actress Marsai Martin rocked the 2022  BET Awards. She obtained her 4th win in the “Young Stars” category and won our hearts with her amazing ensembles.

Marsai started the night on the red carpet in an amazing custom Dolce & Gabbana fringed-bedazzled cocktail dress, with several silver jewelry pieces by Kallati jewelry. Her stylist, Bryon Javar, also paired the look with matching Dolce and Gabbana bedazzled heels. It was giving classy and untouchable.

  1. Chloe Bailey

Ms. Chloe “Lawd Have Mercy” Bailey had everyone on the edge of their seats during her BET performance. Fans should’ve been prepared for the stellar sexy show since Chloe pulled up to the red carpet in the sexiest look of the night.

The “Treat Me” artist pulled up in a jaw-dropping custom black sparkled dress by Nicolas Jebran.

It had a curvy-swirled neckline and showcased a perfect balance of enticing and stunning. Wearing her signature high loc ponytail with multiple pieces of hair jewelry.

  1.  The City Girls’ JT

JT was THAT girl on BET’s red carpet the other night. Styled and curated by Shaq Palmer, the Miami-born rapper sported a head-turning, vintage look where she was dripped in a sexy silver-beaded Valdrin Sahiti gown which featured a sweetheart neckline.

Her 1950s-inspired flipped hair SLAYED and was the perfect addition that gave it a touch of sexy pin-up.

  1. The City Girls’ Yung Miami

Caresha did not come to play as she stunned the red carpet in a sheer, beaded catholic-inspired Tony Ward Couture  gown. Styled by Bryon Javar, the Fiery red ensemble had an elegant hood attached, giving an edgy-saint look and an added sultry vibe.

In addition, the City Girl finished off the look with a matching bright red lip which perfectly complimented her smile.

Overall, The City Girls shut down the red carpet and had fans gawking.

  1. Coi Leray

Coi Leray stepped onto the red carpet wearing an all-denim situation. She brought out the big PURR with a look brought to you by fashion designer Alexander Wang

The fit featured oversized, knee-high pointy toe denim boots with scrunch, a mini skirt, and a cotton all-white sports bra which featured a front clamp paired with an oversized denim blazer, layered on top of an all-white men’s button-up shirt and rib-knit grey sleeves.

While Leray’s casual look for the evening tapped into the 90’s R&B era, it also inhibited a play on androgynist meets sexy as her petite body flaunted her tight abs while casually showing some under boob. Her hair was straight and sleek, featured a front part, and laid baby hairs.

We see you Coi!
