Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Did NOT Break Up
Fashion reporter Louis Pisano, known as @LOUIS_via_ROMA recanted an allegation that he made on social media. Pisano spread false information about Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s relationship on Twitter. The rumor caught like wildfire across social media.
Louis gossiped that the couple had broken up after Rocky stepped out on RiRi with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
In now-deleted posts by Pisano, he tweeted:
“Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split. Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, ASAP & Amina is not new though as she was seeing him years ago and also collaborated with him on a collection of shoes.”

This is a completely false narrative. However, Louis didn’t go down without a fight. He defended his stance at first by replying to a post of a user who refused to believe the rumor. Twitter user @MilanVanity posted a meme that read “When i purposely spread misinformation over the internet.”
Louis was in the comment section defending himself. He said, “ask yourself why for the second-day industry insiders have told y’all this news. I just gave you the details that person who tweeted this news LAST NIGHT didn’t give you.”
The Truth Shall Set You Free
After it was announced the rumor was false, Louis took to Twitter to renounce his behavior. He admitted he spread untruths, calling it a “reckless” and a “dumb decision.”
“Hi all, so I’d like to address the situation. Last night i made a dumb decision to tweet some information i had received. I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion that was started, etc because at the end of the day i made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it. So I’d like to formally apologize to all parties i involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets. I fully accept the consequences of my actions for my tweets and any harm they caused. I have no excuse for it, I’ve been way too wrapped up in Twitter drama and unfortunately leaned into being messy as a brand which is something going forward Im going to move away from. I’m going to take some time away from Twitter to figure out what that looks like and how I can start using my platforms better as I’ve gotten away from using them for more positive work. Again I apologize to them for this unnecessary drama”.
