New York rapper Bobby Shmurda will be getting A-list celebrity treatment from the moment he steps out of prison. According to Migos member Quavo, Bobby will be riding home in style with his friend and collaborator behind the wheel.

Quavo Promises To Pick Up Bobby Shmurda From Prison

Bobby Shmurda is counting the hours until his Feb. 23 release from Clinton Correctional Facility in New York. When the “Hot N*gga” MC is freed, Quavo says he’ll be there to pick him up — possibly in his famous purple Lamborghini Aventador.

“I’m going to get my guy. I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I’m bout to go get him. I’m gonna let him show you how I’m gonna pick him up, yessir.” (Quavo)

Bobby Shmurda’s Mom Hyped For Release Date

As the big day approaches, the jailed rap artist’s mom revealed her excitement on social media. Bobby Shmurda has been locked up since 2014.

Shmurda Getting An Early Release Date

Bobby was arrested in 2014 and convicted in 2016 of conspiracy and weapons charges. Since he’s been in prison, he’s committed multiple violations related to fighting, drugs and weapons. He was denied parole in 2020, but his Feb. 23 release is 10 months sooner than his original date.

Bobby Shmurda is reportedly set to be released from prison towards the end of February, 2021. Reportedly, New York state correctional records that reveal a conditional release for Bobby has been set for February 23rd. We previously reported that Shmurda was denied parole multiple times as his initial release date was set for December 21st, 2021. (Hot 97)

Young Thug and Quavo’s Shmurda Support

In August 2020, Atlanta rap star Young Thug hit up his Instagram page to show his support for both Bobby and fellow hip-hop artist Rowdy Rebel. The heartfelt shout-out inspired Quavo to also promise the rap artists could look forward to a collaboration from him upon their release.
