The “Father Time” rapper is giving back to his beloved Compton hometown, putting up inspiring billboards around town in support of the Compton G.I.R.L.S. Club.
The Compton G.I.R.L.S. Club is a non-profit organization that helps young women in Compton through self-care, bonding and life skills.
In addition, Kendrick’s production company, PG Lang, will also be partnering with Cash App.
The billboard reads:
“Mr.Morale Supports Compton G.I.R.L.S. Club. Invest in your community.
Invest in your community.
Make a donation to $ComptonGirlsClub and Cash App will match it.”
This means whatever fans donate, an equal amount will be donated by Cash App.
Kendrick Partners With CashApp
Kendrick Lamar recently partnered with Cash App, with a PSA to “Invest In Yourself.”
In a short video on PG Lang’s Instagram page, Kendrick can be seen talking to YouTuber Exavier and investor Dalio.
The three discuss how important it is to invest in yourself and become financially literate.
