Comments Off on French Montana Raises Over $200 Million For Uganda Healthcare
Bronx rapper French Montana was recently honored for his humanitarianism after raising $226 million for healthcare in Uganda.
This past weekend, the “Unforgettable” rapper excitingly shared that he won the Innovator Award at the Pencils Of Promise Gala on his Instagram. In his caption, French Montana explained the importance of the award:
“I’m grateful for POP(Pencils Of Promise) acknowledging my work in maternal healthcare in Africa,” French Montana said. Later, he said it was important for Ugandan children to have a “safe environment to learn.”
Uganda also appears to be a special place for French Montana as he shot the video for “Unforgettable” in Kampala, Uganda, with Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee.
In addition, this would not be the rapper’s first deed. In 2017, French Montana visited his homeland, Morocco, for a homecoming performance.
