Waxahatchee has announced details of a new album. Katie Crutchfield will release Tigers Blood, her sixth solo project, on March 22. The album news arrives alongside the lead single “Right Back To It,” which can be found below.

Tigers Blood finds Crutchfield working with new collaborators, including Wednesday‘s MJ Lenderman, Spencer Tweedy, and Phil and Brad Cook. Lenderman plays guitar and contributes vocals on “Right Back To It.”

Crutchfield’s last solo album, Saint Cloud, was released in 2020. In 2022 she joined forces with Jess Williamson and released I Walked With You A Ways under the name Plains.

Additionally, Waxahatchee has announced a 2024 tour in support of Tigers Blood that begins with a hometown show at Kansas City’s Uptown Theater on April 18 and runs until September. Artists joining Crutchfield as support acts on the tour include Greg Mendez, Snail Mail, and Tim Heidecker. All dates and venue details can be found below.
