Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, has confirmed details of her seventh full-length studio album. All Born Screaming will be released on April 26. It is Clark’s first self-produced album and features the single “Broken Man.” Scroll down to see a video for that song now.

Clark worked with guests including Dave Grohl, Rachel Eckroth, Josh Freese, and Warpaint‘s Stella Mogzawa on the album. Cate Le Bon appears on the title track.

“There are some places, emotionally, that you can only get to by taking the long walk into the woods alone—to find out what your heart is really saying,” Clark says in a statement. “It sounds real because it is real.”

All Born Screaming is the first St. Vincent album since 2021’s Daddy’s Home. Speaking to MOJO earlier this year, Clark described her upcoming project as “post-plague pop,” saying “it’s a lot about heaven and hell — the metaphorical kinds. Which is appropriate, because sitting alone in a studio for that many hours I would say is a version of hell.”
