Toronto rapper Tory Lanez can’t seem to distance himself from Megan Thee Stallion. Despite the open case against him for shooting the Houston rapper last year, Tory keeps doing things that fans interpret as throwing subliminal jabs at his alleged victim.
Tory Lanez Tweet Sounds Very Familiar
Tory Lanez posted a tweet recently that sounded a lot like one of Megan Thee Stallion’s lyrics from “Girls In The Hood.” On the song, Megan raps, “I don’t stand outside ’cause I’m too outstandin’.” Tory’s tweet reads, “Sometimes u gotta just stand outside … to remind yourself your ‘Outstanding’” along with laughing emojis.

After the Internet went in on Tory, he (sort of) offered an explanation. He posted a yearbook quote of an unidentified student which might have been the real inspiration behind his tweet.
