Rapper, actress, and film producer Queen Latifah posted a video on Instagram sending love, light and prayers to Regina King. The video has since been taken down and replaced with a post that states “#WeLoveYouRegina.”

Fox Soul TV co-host, Claudia Jordan, initially posted about the death of Regina King’s son last week. However, she has taken the post down out of respect for King.  She was joined on her show by King’s friends and fellow actresses, Vivica A Fox, Syleena Johnson, and Lisa Raye.

Vivica A. Fox provided an update to fans on the actress’s well-being in light of her son’s death.  She shared how she had visited King earlier and how much support was around her while weeping, “Regina is okay.” Vivica also shared that Regina “appreciates her support system and the outpouring of love for her, her family and her son.”

Fox also talked about the importance of mental health. “If y’all see any signs of someone being in distress, stop and take a moment to make sure they are OK. “  Adding that “We have to start bringing more awareness to mental illness.”
