Nelly Apologizes After “Top” Video Leaks
Nelly is trending after the Hot in Here rapper allegedly posted a video of him getting his head topped off by an unidentified woman. The video clip caught some comedic replies from Twitter users over the size and length of his “situation,” including a widely circulating meme of Nelly’s face on a can of Vienna sausages.
Nelly shared an apology directly with TMZ saying that the share was accidental.
I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.
Not too long after Nelly’s video, former B2K band member, Lil Fizz, was exposed on social media for a video from his OF account. The video showed Fizz having some “alone time.” The last time Fizz had this much buzz was when he apologized on stage to Omarion for dating his baby mama.
Nelly Performs At BET Awards
Nelly performed his hits at the BET Awards show and received his well-deserved flowers as well. Nelly gave a jaw-dropping performance at the 2021 BET Awards following his win of the “I Am Hip Hop Award”. The Midwest icon ran through his biggest hits including “Hot in Herre”, “Dilemma”, and “Country Grammar.

Nelly won the “I Am Hip Hop” award for his contributions to the genre from BET.
Nelly may have changed his focus from hip hop to country music but that will not stop The BET Awards from giving Nelly his flowers. BET is recognizing Nelly for his accomplishments in the music industry since the beginning of the millennium. The 46-year-old rapper has hit after hit, including Hot in Here, Dilemma featuring Kelly Rowland, and Cruise with Florida Georgia Line just to name a few.
