Megan Thee Stallion has had an interesting week. She went from pulling double duty by hosting and performing as the musical guest on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live to having her home burglarized.
In addition to being the second woman to both host and perform at SNL after Queen Latifah’s stint in 2004, Megan Thee Stallion’s LA house was broken into while she was rehearsing this past weekend.
According to a report from Deadline, police stated the burglary occurred on Thursday when two men allegedly broke into the back of her home to gain entrance inside.
The police estimate the jewelry and items stolen to be between $300,000-$400,000.
Fortunately, no one was injured as the H-town Hottie soon took to Twitter to state:
“Material things can be replaced, but I’m glad everyone is safe.”
During the performance of her hit “Anxiety” on SNL, she can be seen getting emotional as she continues to push through to finish the song to uplifting cheers and applause.
