Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill is facing heavy criticism for the lyrics on a leaked song he recorded with Lil Baby. In particular, it’s a line Meek spit about late basketball legend Kobe Bryant that many feel is disrespectful.
Meek Mill Tweets ‘Internet Antics Cannot Stop Me’
The controversial line has Meek Mill rapping, “If I ever lack I’m goin’ out with my choppa, it be another Kobe.” Fellow Philly native Kobe Bryant tragically died in a helicopter crash in January 2019. The Internet went in on Meek, and later he got on Twitter with a response.

Rising rap star Pooh Shiesty’s name has been brought up in light of this too. People have revisited a lyric in which he also referenced Kobe. The line reads “I’m in LA, you gon’ chill wit Kobe we get into it”.
Desiigner Gives Meek Mill Hilarious Advice
Former G.O.O.D. Music rapper Desiigner has some advice for Meek Mill. He went online to dish out some game this week on how the Philadelphia rap star should handle his beef with Tekashi 6ix9ine. Desiigner took to his Instagram with a hilarious video. In the clip, he goes wild with it and lets out a whole bunch of his famous tongue rolls. He dished out advice for Meek with his “Panda”-inspired noises (or sound effects, if you will) and threw up some finger guns too.
