Meek Mill has announced on Twitter that he will be dropping a new project titled Flamerz 5 on November 21st.
The “Levels” artist also compared the timing of the release to Lil Wayne’s No Ceilings mixtape series, which Wayne would drop late in the year featuring many freestyles over other artists’ songs.
Meek also previewed a new song and teased in the caption that he would drop it Friday ahead of the project’s official release.
According to Wikipedia, the Flamerz mixtape series started in 2008 and was released before he signed his first record deal with T.I.’s label Grand Hustle Records. Now that Meek has departed from his previous label Roc Nation and other record deals, he can continue the project.
Meek’s studio album, Expensive Pain, was the last time the Philadelphia native gave the public a full project which dropped last year.
