Chicago rapper Lil Durk isn’t letting his fate rest in a police officer’s body cam. Instead, the hip-hop star went to Instagram Live this weekend to capture footage of his run-in with law enforcement.
Lil Durk’s Run-In W/ Cops
Durkio hit up his Instagram Story early Sunday morning with footage from the run-in. Despite the nerve-racking situation – apparently getting pulled over for speeding – Durk joked about trying to get the cops to download his newly released The Voice deluxe album.
Lil Durk has a scary run-in with police. Instead of staying silent, Durk puts on his Instagram Live to capture the entire incident and toward the end acknowledges his friend’s speeding ultimately put them in the tough situation.
After the run-in, Durk returned to his social media pages with a reassuring message.
“False alarm the voice is ok I repeat the voice is oooookkkkk”
Lil Durk’s ‘Kanye Krazy’ Music Video Is Must-See
Outside of the cops run-in, Durk recently blew fans away with his “Kanye Krazy” music video premiere. The visual celebrated some of rap star Kanye West‘s most memorable – and cringe – career moments.
Rappers love to name-check famous figures, but Lil Durk really commits to the bit on his latest. The Chicago rapper doesn’t have much to say about Kanye West on “Kanye Krazy” — he saves all his references for the music video, a trip through West’s most iconic moments. Durk takes on music videos from the artful “Runaway” to the silly “I Love It” to the horny “Bound 2”; he also references moments like West’s wild interview with Sway Calloway (“You ain’t got the answers, Sway,” Durk raps) and his infamous crash of Taylor Swift’s speech at the 2009 VMAs.
Lil Durk Is Owning The Charts In 2021
Lil Durk has eight songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this year, more than anyone else in the game. In addition to tracks from his new album — which was released on Christmas Eve 2020 followed by today’s deluxe version — Durk gets an assist from hip-hop icon Drake, charting with a guest spot on Drizzy’s “Laugh Now Cry Later.”

Lil Durk Keeps Enjoying Success From The Voice Album
Despite Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s best trolling efforts, Lil Durk’s new album The Voice looks like a hit. Tekashi has clowned Durk for the album allegedly not selling well, but the evidence says otherwise.
