Latto is facing backlash from fans after revealing who will be featured on her new upcoming single “Wheelie” that’s set to drop this Friday. In order to market the new song, Latto took to twitter to play a guessing game with her fans to figure out who the secret artist is. The facts she gave about the mystery artist were very vague, which seems like the point Latto was going for making it difficult to figure out the answer. The facts were simple: “A rapper, A Parent, Attended Met Gala, and has a Diamond record.”
With the facts given, many fans speculated the feature was from Nicki Minaj or Cardi B. The guesses were way off, forcing Latto to reveal the collaboration is actually with rapper 21-Savage. Fans were highly disappointed in the reveal, anticipating the feature to be from a specific female emcee.
Latto Claps Back at The Barbs and Bardi Gang
Latto seems to always face some sort of criticism when dropping new music. Back in September, Latto received disapproval with fans when she dropped her single “Big Energy.” Taking to twitter to express her feelings, fellow music industry mate Coi Leray, offered her support. Of course the southern belle ain’t with the bullying, the rapper clapped back at the Barbs and Bardi gang stating: “yall Bi*chs ain’t bullying nobody, I didn’t deny anyone because the whole point was to guess the fu*k ?! Yall narrowed it down to them 2 not me!” Earlier this year Latto dropped a freestyle to Kodak Balck’s hit “Super Gremlin ” and fans loved it, we’re ready to hear the hot new single with 21-Savage.
