Last night, Kehlani kicked off the NBA opening night with a performance for the California Warriors game.
The “Blue Water” artist sang “Nights Like This” from her 2019 While We Wait album. She casually wore a sleek ponytail and a Golden State Warriors varsity jacket, denim jeans, and all-white sneakers for the performance.
Kehlani’s performance is also fitting since the artist is from the Bay area in California, the team’s hometown.
The Warriors played against the Lakers who they defeated at 123-109 and received their fourth championship ring.
Additionally, rapper Doechii was present at the game and cheered for Kehlani during the performance.
In other news, Kehlani has been in a celebratory mood as she recently applauded the conviction of her ex-boyfriend Kaalan Walker who was charged with rape earlier this week.
Can’t Catch A Break
Meanwhile, Kehlani had to stop performing at her Philadelphia show, due to many people passing out during the concert.
During the previous show in Pittsburgh, the Bay area native noticed a fight broke out while performing “Honey,” and a fan ran up on her while she was onstage.
