Comments Off on Kanye West Fans Call Out Gap For Newly Released Yeezy Slide Lookalike
Clothing company Gap recently cut ties with Kanye West and released new slides that caused customers to do a double take. Fans on social media say the slides look too similar to Yeezy designs.
In a TikTok video, one user compares his Yeezy slides to an image of Gap’s version as Ye’s 2008 hit song “Heartless” plays in the background.
A prominent difference in the slides is Gap’s logo on the front of the slide, which the user pointed out in the video.
Kanye has had previous issues with Gap, where he recently exposed the company for copying a shirt from his Balenciaga collection. The fashion mogul also threatened to take Gap to court for making business decisions without his permission.

In an Instagram post by Ye, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper told Rorsted he “is not standing for blatant copying anymore” in a lengthy caption after showing the design for Adilette 22 slides.
