West Coast rapper Game is not playing in anticipation of a possible Verzuz battle with friend-turned-rival 50 Cent. While the L.A. veteran says a Verzuz could help squash his beef with the New York hip-hop mogul, Game is also taking it as seriously as a fight.
Game Verzuz 50 Cent Could Happen
If the Verzuz happens, Game said he already studied his catalogue and has 25 songs lined up. One of those will surely be “Hate It Or Love It,” an early Game hit featuring 50 Cent that earned both of them Grammy nominations before their falling out years ago.
“(50) is the only person I would even entertain doing a Verzuz with, because it just makes the most sense and nobody else can really go with me,” Game said. “I’m not sure that we gon’ do it, but if we do, I’m definitely down to sit in a room with him.”
Game Hypes Up His Own Resume
Before you dismiss Game’s claims that not many rappers could match him hit-for-hit, listen to his take. “It’s only one artist alive that has more No. 1 hip-hop albums than me and that’s Drake, bro,” Game said. “I made my rounds. It’s an impeccable career inside of music, outside of music.”
Game Has New State Of Mind Going Into 2021
The Los Angeles native went to his Instagram page with some big words. The 40-plus year old admitted he’s growing and evolving more than ever.
“My mindset is evolving. I can’t be around the same sh*t anymore. I’m protecting my energy and focused on my growth. It’s nothing personal. … To whom it may……” -Game’s Instagram

A few days ago, Game went to social media with a huge warning. He referenced multiple rappers being shot and killed in 2020 alone and gave his thoughts on how to stay safe. G
“10 rappers shot & killed this year alone & n*ggas wanna know my advice for up & coming artists… STAY THE F*CK IN THE HOUSE. #F*ck2020 … N*ggas gettin killed by iPhone apps these days.” -Game’s Twitter
