Dr Dre Makes GTA Online Cameo

New footage has surfaced online showing both the Doc and his Beats By Dre co-founder/partner Jimmy in a cutscene. Rockstar Games’ latest update to its franchise title shows off both Dre and Iovine in an epic storyline moment.

One of the key figures behind the creation West Coast G-funk, Dr. Dre may not be an actual doctor, but he is a legend. In order to run into West Coast rap royalty in GTA Online, you’ll need to download the Cayo Perico Heist update, then get started on the heist by doing some setup missions. As mentioned in our GTA Online patch notes, you’ll get to Cayo Perico by way of a plane full of famous DJs set to perform on the heavily guarded island. If you haven’t yet seen Dr. Dre appear during the heist, the footage is quite cool to see as well. A group of “big guns” arrive and as you might expect, from the group flying out of their SUV comes the rapper along with DJ Pooh. (Dexerto)
