The 26-year-old soulful singer from Maryland now has the top R&B album in the country with his latest project, Wasteland.
Faiyaz’s album only trails Bad Bunny’s album, Un Verano Sin Ti.
Brent is also known for his solo projects, F**k The World and Sonder Son, which made him one of the hottest names under the radar.
Features on the album were a huge plus for the early success of the album. Artists featured on Wasteland included Alicia Keys, Drake, Tyler the Creator, The Neptunes, and others.
A Trip To Wasteland
Needing to follow up 2020’s F**k The World, Brent released Wasteland on July 8 after a lot of hype on social media. A trailer for the album was released on Brent’s social media pages.
This is his second studio album after 2017’s Sonder Son, which boosted his popularity. Prior to the album dropping, he released the single “Price of Fame” and a video for it.
