Ari Lennox Distressed After “Disrespectful Interview, Tweets About Label Woes
Ari Lennox, who is signed to both Dreamville and Interscope Records, wants out.
The singer tweeted her distress, saying, “I want to be dropped from the labels. I’m done and tired.”
Lennox has been dealing with drama from her most recent interview.
While on the podcast “Podcast and Chill”, the host asked, “Is someone fucking you good right now?” while referring to her song “Pop,” which features the lyrics, “If you really love me I’ll fuck you good.”
The question did not sit well with Ari and prompted her to tweet that she’s never doing interviews again.
After a fan questioned why Ari would want to abandon her labels after one bad interview, the “Shea Butter Baby” singer let us know that it’s been coming.
“Shut up! The interview was the icing on the cake. I want to be free.”
