21 Savage, Metro Boomin + Bryson Tiller’s First-Week Sales Projections Revealed

Atlanta rapper 21 Savage and Metro Boomin are in for a huge opening week. The hip-hop pair’s new Savage Mode 2 album is expected to easily secure the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart with massive projections.

21 Savage’s Huge First-Week Projections

Based on early estimates, 21 and Metro are flirting with nearly 200,000 sold copies after just 7 days of availability. Rap crooner Bryson Tiller‘s new A N N I V E R S A R Y album is expected to secure over 75,000 copies following its surprise release.

21 Savage and Metro Boomin will easily take the #1 spot on next Friday’s HITSTop 50. Epic shares this release with Republic, adding yet another #1 to the latter’s impressive 2020 run. Savage Mode II will log the largest weekly total yet for 21 Savage, whose best start hitherto was in December 2018, when I Am > I Wasopened with 131k. This is Epic’s second #1 of the year following Future’High Off Life, which debuted with 153k in May. Interscope‘s distaff K-Pop group BLACKPINK also appear headed for a six-digit bow.

Earlier in the week, Savage hit up Instagram to reveal the must-see new album artwork. The cover features Savage and collaborator Metro Boomin together and giving vibes of the vintage Cash Money Records-style of 90’s albums.

In May 2020, 21 Savage went to his Instagram Story to reveal he made sure everything was just right on the new album before it dropped. He said there was a lot going on but he would soon bless fans with music.
