Experimental pop artist Saya Gray has shared the details of the QWERTY II EP, the follow-up to last year’s QWERTY. The Japanese-Canadian musician’s latest project will be released on March 28 via Dirty Hit. In a statement, Gray calls the upcoming release “a collection of ideas and collages stuck together as the ying to the yang of the first half.”

Today, you can hear the project’s first single, “AA BOUQUET FOR YOUR 180 FACE.” As you may have ascertained from the title, it’s perfect for anyone suffering from post-Valentine’s Day blues, or the effects of any relationship where you’ve compromised yourself too much for someone who wasn’t worth it. “I bent over backwards so many times / I turned into a golden arch for you to walk through,” Grey sings in an exhausted, ethereal falsetto as electronic kicks are machine-gunned onto her groovy, avant-R&B melodies.

Hear the full song in the music video below, directed by Jennifer Cheng. The elusive visuals feature Gray as the leader of (or perhaps an interlocutor in) a forest cult that loves masks, moving mysterious, and praising a mystical presence in a lake. Check it out below.
