Twitter Debates If YNW Melly Should Be Freed
Twitter users have been debating back and forth whether or not Melly deserves to be freed. He’s been awaiting trial since he was arrested in February 2019 and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The Florida rapper is currently behind bars for the death of his fellow crew members Christopher Thomas Jr. (YNW Juvy) and Anthony Williams (YNW Sakchaser).
NY Knicks Welcome Bobby Shmurda Home
The New York Knicks know how important Bobby Shmurda is for the culture. The iconic professional basketball team is trending courtesy of a pic showing how the organization welcomed home the previously jailed rap star. A must-see pic is circulating online showing Bobby’s face plastered onto a massive billboard outside of the Knicks’ Madison Square Garden arena.

Bobby Shmurda is big free. The hip-hop veteran has finally tasted freedom after spending over six years behind bars on a federal gun conviction. According to reports, Shmurda has officially put his prison days behind him. Footage has started to circulate online showing him talking to his mom through a FaceTime session.
Bobby Shmurda has reason to bust out the Shmurda Dance … he’s no longer behind bars after getting sprung early. The rapper was released from New York’s infamous Clinton Correctional Facility just before 8:30 Tuesday morning, which is about 10 months earlier than expected. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Shmurda will now be under parole supervision for the next 5 years until Feb. 23, 2026. (TMZ)
Shmurda’s mom has since hit up her social media pages with footage of her freed son.
