At the stroke of 12:01 am, Young Thug’s name was automatically trending in celebration of his born day, with almost every post including “#Free YSL.” Thugger, born Jeffrey Lamar Williams Atkins this day in 1991, was jailed back in May 2022 in Georgia on conspiracy to violate the RICO Act. His bond request was denied by a judge who cited concerns that the YSL leader could be a danger to the community, witnesses, and to other people in this indictment.
