In an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith for Interview Magazine, The Pinkprint artist dished on many different topics such as motherhood, the state of hip-hop of today, and much more.
During the conversation, Minaj teased the Barbz with some exciting news about her long-awaited album. She shared that it may drop later this year due to the recent success of her single “Super Freaky Girl,” where she scored her first No. 1 solo song on Billboard.
If the “Super Bass” artist does drop her new album this year, it will continue the recent trend of her dropping a studio album every four years with albums like The Pinkprint and Queen which both had a four-year gap in between.
Recently, the New York native dropped a project called Queen Radio Volume 1, mostly a collection of her past hit songs.
