Condolences To Moneybagg Yo And His Family

The mother of Memphis rapper, Moneybagg Yo’s children has passed away suddenly. Kennedy Lynette (aka Chyna Santana) leaves behind the three children she shared with the Memphis rapper. Reports of her untimely passing began to appear online on Friday (April 29th). 

The deceased’s loved ones shared their grief online. A Facebook user, Jessica Summers, mourned the loss of her friend, posting:  “Im heart hurting so bad dude. I was just otp with you my sister. Why you had to do me like that.!!!!! Kennedy Leynettee why you leave me.” 

There is no official report as to the cause of death yet. Moneybagg Yo has also not made any comment about the loss at this time.

Lakevia Jackson’s Death

In March, rapper Young Thug experienced a similar loss when his son’s mother passed away in Atlanta after being shot at a local bowling alley.

Atlanta Police made an arrest in the homicide case of Lakevia Jackson. Jackson, who shares a 14-year-old son with rapper Young Thug. She was murdered over a bowling ball dispute.

On March 31, 2022, they identified and arrested 25-year-old Joshua Fleetwood. He is the main suspect in the senseless murder of Lakevia Jackson. 

Atlanta Police provided a press release and video pertaining to the current status of the case. The press release read:

“On March 20, 2022, investigators secured warrants charging Mr. Fleetwood with felony murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

“On March 31, 2022, Mr. Fleetwood was apprehended by the members of the Atlanta Police Department’s Fugitive Unit, along with the U.S. Marshals Service’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Fleetwood was transported to the Atlanta Police Department Headquarters before being taken to the Fulton County Jail.”
