Kevin Gates is known to be a man of many words and has been open about his journey through mental health and spirituality.
In his recent interview with the City Girls’ Yung Miami, he didn’t hold anything back and even confirmed the sexual experience he had with his cousin.
The episode started with Gates discussing the meaning behind his most recent album, Khaza, named after his son. The album is a selection of songs that express his journey of healing.
The “Two Phones” rapper also talked about his thoughts on marriage as a Muslim, saying he prefers one wife, although his religion says he can have four. He got real about his relationship with his wife, Dreka.
“She will always be my best friend,” said Gates.
He also explained that the two are on different journeys, and Dreka is very supportive.
The Louisiana native also cleared up cheating rumors, saying he never claimed Dreka cheated on him with her trainer.
Yung Miami wasn’t too shy asking questions either. Gates gave us details about the sexual relationship he had with his cousin, saying his grandmother confirmed the relationship between the two.
However, it didn’t stop him from pursuing her, and he says they are still cool to this day.
The episode ended with Gates sharing some of the ways he teaches during sex. And when it comes to the bedroom, Gates claims he needs a good report card every time.
