Kanye West Is The New Twitter Fingers

Kanye West has been wildly uncontrollable on social media and it appears that someone finally intervened. Though some find Kanye’s behavior quite entertaining, others believe he is transforming into his mentor, Donald Trump.

Social justice activist and commentator, Shaun King, had a lot to say about Kanye West’s rowdy behavior on social media. The New York Times bestselling author took to his Instagram to provide his take on Kanye’s recent social media tirades against soon to be ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, rapper Kid Cudi, Billie Eilish, and Pete Davidson. Though he acknowledges Kanye’s “jeen-yuhs,” he says the music and fashion icon has “crossed the line into abuse.”

“Let me explain it because this whole situation is a land mine.

  1. Kanye and Kim are separated and Kim has filed for divorce
  2. Kanye has openly and publicly dated multiple women, including over the past month, while…
  3. He has repeatedly threatened violence against a man Kim has seen.
  4. And threaten the careers and names and reputations of good men and women connected to that man.
  5. All in the name of his family, but NONE of this helps Kanye’s family.
  6. Kim literally texts him to tell him he has started to create a physically dangerous situation for them. And he posts the text, with another meme of physical violence.”

He later added, “so let me tell you the ONLY other famous person I know does this… DONALD TRUMP.”

Donald West or Kanye Trump

The parallels between Kanye and Trump’s behavior as played out on social media is are uncanny.

Kanye supported the former president throughout his term to the chagrin of the hip hop community though in an interview with “Forbes” in 2020 during his own presidential run, Kanye informed that he no longer supports Trump, stating: “I am taking my red hat off with this interview.”

Both men are known for throwing their colleagues under the bus. Kanye recently cutoff  longtime friend Kid Cudi, a former artist signed to Ye’s record label, G.O.O.D  Music, due to Cudi’s refusal to denounce Billie Eilish.  He also attacked – and then made-up – with longtime collaborator, Big Sean.

Like Trump, Kanye will wage war on social media and use the platform to debase perceived enemies. Donald made Twitter his personal diary, from exposing colleagues, competitors and essentially igniting an attack at the United States capital.

During the Super Bowl, Kanye was booed by the crowd when he was spotlighted on the big screen. Donald was also booed by baseball fans back in 2019 when he attended Game 5 of the World Series Championship.

Kanye West is becoming Donald Trump 2.0 right before our eyes.

Kanye Ends Up Apolog’ing

Kanye has deleted all menacing posts from his Instagram page since  people are calling him out for his toxic stunts. The Donda rapper, replaced all controversial images on his Instagram with an angelic type photo of himself surrounded by clouds. In the caption he writes:

I’ve learned that using all caps makes people feel like I’m screaming at them. I’m working on my communication. I can benefit from a team of creative professionals, organizers, mobilizers and community leaders. Thank everybody for supporting me. I know sharing screenshots was jarring and came off as harassing Kim. I take accountability.

Black Future Month Ain’t Over Yet

In more pleasant Kanye news, the rapper is showing love to Snoop Dogg with his latest acquisition of Death Row Records saying, “Snoop acquiring Deathrow is Black Future Month As F*ck.”
