The paperwork battle over Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion may be resolved soon. Southern hip-hop mogul J. Prince reveals that Megan’s label, 1501 Certified Ent., and her management company, JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation, are close to finalizing the details of her contract.

The dispute with Megan Thee Stallion and 1501 got so bad that the chart-topping star filed a restraining order against her Texas-based label. According to J. Prince, though, he and JAY-Z are now close to securing a deal that works for everybody.
“Me and the homie JAY-Z spoke last week on the last point of closing that deal. … Everything will be smooth. She’s still with 1501, you know, slash 300. And Roc Nation is managing her.”
Meg Celebrates Hitting Gold Status
Meg has 500,000 reasons to smile right now. The hip-hop superstar has lit up social media to react to her Good News album going gold just months after its release.
