New York rapper Ja Rule is big proud for Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. The hip-hop veteran has stepped forward to applaud the election results and reveal why he’s most excited about Harris’ historic victory.

According to Rule, Harris’ achievement as the first-ever woman to become vice president is deeper than people realize. Ja acknowledged Kamala’s success story having a major impact for HBCU students.
The rapper and father of a Hampton University graduate said, “You don’t even have to put ‘black’ in front of it. I think that’s a major accomplishment in itself . . . and she went to Howard, an HBCU [historically black colleges and universities]. Which I love. I know my daughter Brittney is even more happy . . . so lotta love in the air. That’s all we really want. That’s all we ask for this election. We just want to bring some love and decency back to the country.” (Page Six)

This week, New York rapper Cardi B hit up her Instagram page and kept things a buck. The rap heavyweight shared recent footage of herself interviewing President-elect Joe Biden ahead of election day and singled out major media outlets and personalities for coming at her.
