Funk Flex Calls Rappers Out For Turning Off Comments
Flex didn’t hold back on a new episode of “Cigar Talk” and called the rappers who don’t let people comment cowards. He noted artists who talk a tough game but then can’t handle the criticism dropped below their posts.
You know what’s the most disgusting part about a rapper?” A rapper that turns his comments off is a p*ssy. He’s f*cking p*ssy. You’re on your phone all day talking tough, you writing your bars, you putting out your mixtape, you’ve got your guns in the video and you turn off your comments, you p*ssy… What kind of banana sh*t is that?”
Funk Flex continued and doubled down on his comments. However, some people have called him out on social media in response to his words, saying that FF has done this before on Instagram too.

You go to your phone, you go to the post, you see a few comments you don’t like. You go, ‘That’s not true. He supposed to be my man, how dare he say that. One dicey part of the interview included Flex sharing his issues with rap star Cardi B‘s rapping skills.
“I do think Cardi B’s a terrible rapper. I just do, man. She’s an amazing entertainer. I love her on social media. I love the way she talks about a subject. I like her whole swag. I like everything. She’s a terrible rapper, man. … If somebody wrote it, those aren’t good bars. So somebody sold you bad bars”

Funk Flex went to his Instagram page to share the ultimate teaser clip. Along with new audio, the Hot 97 icon let loose a preview of their upcoming music video.

Before late Chicago rapper King Von was shot and killed in November 2020, he recorded “Lurkin” with Funk Flex. The video recently hit 10 million YouTube views. Flex recently made songs with New York artists Fivio Foreign and Rowdy Rebel that have just under five million combined views.
