Toronto rapper Drake is here for the people. After a video went up of random local man letting it be known he was trying to get his money up, Drizzy decided to help out in an amazing way.
Drake Comes In Clutch For Random Man
The man shared that he’d grown his money from $500 to $1,300 since the start of the year, prompting Drake to ask for his PayPal. The 6 God doubled the man’s money and also dished him an Instagram follow. Drizzy took it one step further and paid off his student loans, too.
“Yo what’s this mans PayPal I’m doubling that for my guy Bucks B”
“@champagnepapi Is The Realest ! I Can’t Thank Him Enough…. A Real Role Model !”
“Yo fam, listen up. I gotta big up Drizzy, the one and only Drake fam. He’s a man of his word fam. He doubled my money and on top of that fam, I told him about my OSAP and he cleared my debts fam. So I gotta big up this guy one more time. He’s the biggest name in the city fam. Drizzy Drake fam, I’m tryna be be like him one day.”
Drake’s Dad Celebrates Sandra’s Birthday
The OVO Sound boss’ dad knows how special his former flame is. Dennis Graham has come forward to share some heartfelt words to Drizzy’s mom Sandra “Sandi” Graham on her born day. DG hit up Instagram with a priceless throwback shot of his ex-wife. Graham even dished on just how special of a woman she is.
“Happy Birthday to one of the most loving people in this world, may you enjoy your special day and I am sure that it will be as special as you are, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART ????❤️❤️❤️❤️??????????????????”
Drake Delays Certified Lover Boy
Recently, Drizzy went to his Instagram Story to alert fans eagerly hoping to get their hands on his delayed Certified Lover Boy album in the coming days. Despite not dropping the project in January, Drake did vow to release it this year.
“I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery. I’m blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
CLB Originally Thought To Be Coming Very Soon
All we had known about Drake’s Certified Lover Boy is that it’s supposed to drop early in 2021. Then a few days ago, pop singer/producer Charlie Puth tweeted “Drakes dropping on the 21st” before deleting the post. Drake, unbothered, initially didn’t respond or provide any details.
In a now-deleted tweet that was posted on Monday, Puth wrote, “Drakes dropping on the 21st.” It’s not clear if Puth provided any production, songwriting, or performances to the album, nor has he been publicly linked to it in any way until this. So, it’s not clear why Puth would know the release date for Certified Lover Boy. Puth has shared some thoughts about Drake over the past year, though. Back in March, he speculated on Twitter, “If Drake put out a record that had the same tempo as Vogue by Madonna, and maybe even sounded a little bit like it, it would be the biggest thing ever.” (UPROXX)
