Not only did rapper 21 Savage show up as a mystery performance for the two universities, but he also brought out rap icon Drake as a surprise performance.
Students everywhere lit up their phones in amazement as Drake appeared on the stage.
The Toronto sensation had the crowd going wild as he performed his hit “Nonstop” from his album Scorpion.
At the end of his performance, he revealed that he was not invited by their schools, but in fact, by 21 himself.
He also added that he would like to make his comeback next year.
From surprise performances to albums, Drake always has something under his sleeve.
Students received this iconic concert for only $45.
This marks Drake’s first time performing at an HBCU homecoming since 2012 when he surprised Howard University students with an epic performance.
