A new Mitski concert film is coming to theaters this fall. Mitski: The Land will arrive in theaters on October 22 via Trafalgar Releasing, with showings on 630 cinemas in 30 countries. The movie was directed by Grant James and filmed over three nights at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, where Mitski performed in support of her 2023 album The Land Is Inhospitable And So Are We. Tickets go on sale here on September 15.

Those who didn’t catch the tour live can expect a theatrical spectacle. Mitski’s performances featured a seven-piece band, choreography by Monica Mirabile, and stage design by Andi Watson. “Mitski is a visionary artist and a compelling performer and her first concert film is just as special,” said Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, in a press release. “It’s a privilege to bring this film to cinemas and Mitski fans around the world.”
