There is a specific echelon of artists who remain deeply connected to the formative years of the blog era in hip-hop. Wiz Khalifa and mgk are two such figures who thrived during that transformative period, and they have now decided to honor their collective history with a brand-new collaborative project.
The duo has officially released a new music video and single titled ‘Everything Tatted,’ a track that finds both rappers celebrating their shared affinity for body art. As the title suggests, the visual is a literal showcase of their ink.
Aptly titled the Blog Era Boyz Mixtape, the upcoming project promises to lean heavily into nostalgia. The mixtape features a diverse lineup of collaborators, including Ty Dolla $ign, Bam Margera, and Boo Johnson. In anticipation of the release, the artists have teased the artwork and launched a dedicated website—or, as they might prefer to call it, a blog—to keep fans updated on the drop.
Beyond the studio, the two artists are bringing their chemistry to the stage. Wiz Khalifa has joined mgk on his ongoing North American tour, titled lost americana, which serves as a nod to his album released last year. Fans looking to catch the duo live can find the remaining tour dates below.
