Beyonce and her daughter share victory after winning the award for Best Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration for the song “Brown Skin Girl.” The song also features Nigerian singer/songwriter, WizKid, and hip-hop artist SAINt JHN. The 51st NAACP Image Awards took place in Pasadena, California, on Friday. At eight years old, ivy is the youngest person to win an award of such magnitude. The apple of greatness doesn’t fall far from the tree, Queen Bey, won six NAACP Awards that night. The awards include Outstanding Female Artist, Outstanding Variety Series for her Homecoming Netflix documentary, Outstanding Live Album for Homecoming: The Live Album, and of course, Soundtrack/Compilation Album for The Lion King: The Gift.
