Kanye West Addresses The Media, Calls Out Endeavor CEO, + Compares Himself To Emmett Till

Recently, on Kanye’s Instagram, he posted a horrific photo of Emmet Till and called out Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel for urging companies to no longer support Mr. West after his anti-semitic comments.

There was support for that statement as a screen projector at TIAA Bank Field was projected to say, “Kanye was right about the jews,” during the football game between Georgia and Florida over the weekend.

Others condemned Kanye, like The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne Tha God that said mental illness couldn’t be an excuse for antisemitism or bigotry on the Know Mercy podcast.

Just a day before his eyebrow-raising statements on Instagram, Ye spoke to the media after leaving his daughter, North West’s, basketball game.

While speaking to the media, he was asked if he regrets his past comments that were labeled as anti-semitic, which led the mogul to lose multiple deals with companies Balenciaga, Adidas, and Gap.

The Yeezy creator responded by saying he is being “dragged” like Emmett Till, a 14-year-old boy abducted and murdered for allegedly whistling at a white woman in 1955. Kanye believes that the media and companies are trying to “make an example out of him” for “stepping out of line.”

The business mogul continued as he compared himself to Till, “I know my brothers, my engineers, my architects, my farmers are gonna rise up, and if it meant they had to take me and drag me like Emmett Till in front of everyone because I whistled,” Kanye said to the press. 

Kanye added that the controversy only further proves his stance, “another thing that’s happening is by me being burned to the flesh every single day, it’s actually proving what I had to say.” 

The video ended with Kanye saying a prayer in front of the media and leaving with his entourage.

Kanye West is no longer a billionaire, according to Forbes magazine. The demotion follows after Ye’s recent comments, which were deemed as anti-semitic. 

The Yeezy mogul recently lost deals with Balenciaga, Gap, and his bank, JP Morgan Chase.
