Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci turned himself in to police this week, facing a murder charge. Lucci’s fellow ATLien and one-time rival Young Thug appears to be supporting him despite their past issues.
Young Thug Seems To Reference YFN Lucci On IG
On his Instagram Story, Young Thug wrote that he doesn’t want to see anyone locked up, posting not long after the YFN Lucci news broke. Followers took it for a reference to YFN Lucci and his current legal situation.

YFN Lucci Denied Bond At First Court Appearance
Lucci is not leaving jail anytime soon. After making his first virtual court appearance, a judge has shut down his attempt to leave on bail.
A judge denied bond on Thursday for 29-year-old Rayshawn Bennett, also known as YFN Lucci, who turned himself in to authorities and was booked into the Fulton County Jail Wednesday. On December 10, officers were dispatched around 5:20 p.m. following a person shot all on the 900 block of Peeples Street in southwest Atlanta. When they arrived, they found 28-year-old James Adams laying in the street with a gunshot wound to his head. Adams was rushed to Grady Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. (CBS 46)
YFN Lucci Facing Murder + Other Charges
Lucci is also facing charges for weapons and gang activity. YFN Lucci (a.k.a. Rayshawn Bennett) is a suspect in the death of 28-year-old James Adams, who was shot and killed on Dec. 10 in Atlanta. On a 911 call, a witness says Adams was thrown out of a moving SUV and shot in the head.
