The MTV EMAs, or European Music Awards, have just announced their nominees for “Best Hip-Hop.”
Chart Data’s recent Twitter post revealed the nominees: Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and Jack Harlow.
Unlike Lil Baby, who has a new upcoming album, other artists who could win for their recently dropped albums could be Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers, Jack Harlow’s Come Home The Kids Miss You, and Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind.
In August, Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion also dropped her sophomore album, Traumazine, which could also help her bring home the award.
As for Nicki Minaj, the “Super Freaky Girl” dropped new music that could be added to her trophy collection. Additionally, Atlanta rapper Future had a productive year as a featured artist.
The MTV EMAs will be held on November 13 and hosted in Dusseldorf, Germany.
