In 2018, Cook was struggling to pay his tuition and bills at the same time. He saw a tweet from Nicki Minaj asking if any of her fans needed help covering school costs. Cook took a chance and reached out to his favorite rapper, and a few days later, his tuition was taken care of for the semester.
