The “No Flockin” rapper went on social media to rant about BET and Atlanta rapper Latto. This after realising his insensitive rant about the late rapper PnB Rock’s girlfriend.

Kodak was unhappy that he did not win Song Of The Year at the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Yak was nominated for his hit “Super Gremlin,” but Latto won for “Big Energy.” 

In reaction, he went on a tirade on Instagram live, calling out BET and Latto, who he referred to as “lache” and “frappuccino.”

Kodak also accused the BET awards of being “rigged” and called for it to be boycotted. However, he opined that if a woman were to win, it should have been GloRilla’s “FNF”, which currently has 42 million views on YouTube.

Kodak & Latto Had Beef In Their Past

Meanwhile, Kodak and Latto already have a history of not liking each other. 

Before Latto’s album,  she shared that a featured male artist tried to have sex with her for a feature. This led many fans to think it was Kodak. 

Kodak denied the claim, which led to a response by Latto.

He also added that he’s all for “women empowerment.”

Kodak calls Latto “Lache”

Kodak’s “Super Gremlin” currently has over 222 million views on Youtube. 

It also did well on the charts and got cosigned by Drake, who called him “the future.”

Latto’s “Big Energy” did well in numbers as far as charts go but currently has only 36 million views on YouTube and was released before both songs.

Kodak Says BET Nod Was Just For Views

In addition, the “Can I ” artist claims they finally gave him a nomination only for views. 

He posted BET’s ratings for the show, which went up 34% from last year.

The Florida rapper was not the only person snubbed from the BET Hip-Hop Awards; several other artists were denied that many fans believed were more deserving.

Meanwhile, many viewers on Black Twitter voiced their opinions on the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

They did not like Yung Miami’s Caresha Please winning in the hip-hop platform category over Drink Champs and Versuz.

Other moments in the award shows that were met with negative comments were the unoriginal sound of Diddy’s son, King Combs and new generation rappers not rapping well in cyphers.
