Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck links up with music newcomer Iliana Eve for their new, thought-provoking “Daddy’s Little Girl” track. Check it out below!
Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck’s chillingly raps about prostitution over this Mike Smith and Jonathan Hay track that’s reminiscent of Everlast’s “What’s It’s Like” from back in the day. Deck raps, “She’s an angel but she’s caught up in the devil’s hold / So the trials and tribulations made her sell her soul / So confused, she can’t close the open wounds / So consumed, nothing left but the smoking fumes.”
14 year old Iliana Eve, who’s been co-signed by Snoop Dogg, Cyhi The Prynce and Kxng Crooked steals the show with her verse that is inspired from 2Pac’s classic “Brenda’s Got A Baby” from his debut album 2pacalypse Now. Pac’s line “She sees sex as a way of leaving hell” is incorporated in this “Daddy’s Little Girl” song. It’s almost like telling more of the story of Brenda, the character Pac created. It’s haunting the way Iliana Eve sings it.
