New York rapper Fat Joe came “this” close to knuckling up with his former rap foe 50 Cent for a few million. The hip-hop veteran has shared his thoughts on the now-infamous Nate Robinson/Jake Paul celebrity boxing match and revealed he once had a chance to get in the ring against Curtis Jackson.
Fat Joe Vs. 50 Cent In The Ring?
Fat Joe is one of the rap game’s biggest boxing fans, and he’s been vocal in his defense of Nate Robinson. Joe went on Instagram Live to talk about Nate and revealed that years ago, there was lucrative interest in Joey Crack fighting 50 Cent at the height of their feud.
“I wouldn’t do it. When I had beef with 50 Cent, people were, like, fake offering me $10 million, $5 million, to go fight 50 one-on-one. I’m not scared of 50. I’d fight him for free half the time! But to get knocked out on TV, it’s tough.” (Fat Joe’s Instagram Live)
Fat Joe Still Has Love For Nate The Great
While a lot of people are making fun of Nate Robinson, New York rap veteran Fat Joe has nothing but praise for the former New York Knicks guard.
“How many of you would have the heart to get in the ring at a Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight and fight one-on-one against another guy? And so, yeah, he caught the L. But it’s so much heart of a lion to go in there and fight and I don’t think people are giving him the respect they should. And then a lot of people on social media, meaning you, just like to talk s***. Basically, you wouldn’t do the s*** yourself.” (Fat Joe’s Instagram Live)
50 Cent Memes Nate Robinson
To no one’s surprise, 50 is on the side of people having fun at Nate Rob’s expense. The hip-hop mogul trolled the NBA dunk contest champion after his boxing loss.

Floyd Mayweather Defends Nate Robinson
This past weekend, undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. went to his Instagram page to share a throwback shot of himself posted up alongside Nate. Floyd also acknowledged social media’s wrath against Robinson following his Saturday night bout.
“Nate, I’m proud of you and I will always stand behind all my brothers. I will never kick my brother when he’s down. It’s ok for people to voice their opinions on social media, but no black athletes or black entertainers, especially black NBA players should make a mockery out of you. We are supposed to all stand with each other through the good, bad and ugly. I’m here to uplift you and let you know we all love you and congratulate you for just making an effort. SIDENOTE: The times I’ve had issues with another brother is when they came at me first. I was just defending myself.” -Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Instagram
